Women in STEM

This program aims to increase the ranks of women who pursue, persist, and succeed in STEM-related careers through mentorship. The Women in STEM Mentorship (WISM) Program is geared towards undergraduate women to assist them in cultivating a mentoring relationship with a volunteer mentor who is currently in a STEM-related career. Undergraduate women exploring or who have already declared a STEM-related major can be matched one-on-one with a mentor and/or attend workshops as a group, which provides relevant information and access to a room full of women with various levels of experience in their careers.  Our goal is to cultivate new relationships that support increased confidence, self-sufficiency, and connection to our community.

As a MENTEE, you can anticipate:

  • Exposure and visibility opportunities
  • Access to role models
  • Improved communications and confidence
  • Greater success in school and career

As a MENTOR, you can anticipate:

  • Influence the next generation of Women in STEM
  • Networking Opportunities
  • Increased collaboration

W2WM, Inc. accepts applications for this program on an ongoing basis for mentees and mentors.
