Looking for ways to help your employees develop and engage in the community? Our Programs might be a good fit!

Woman to Woman Mentoring is a community asset, and over the last 14 years, we have seen so many women thrive because they have received guidance, support, and community connection. Much like organizational human resources departments, we know that investing in our people (for us, our mentees and mentors) makes our organization and community stronger. We also know that only some organizations or businesses have the resources to do what we do. The good part is that you don’t have to – because W2WM is here to help all women who work, live, or go to school in Frederick County!

If you are a business owner or lead a company – we should be talking. Why? Because our programs are a great addition to your efforts – either as an employee development opportunity to help your female colleagues grow or an employee engagement opportunity to connect your female colleagues to a way to give back given all of their hard-earned experiences!

Employee Development

If you have employees or colleagues looking for extra support, our CORE Program (for those ages 18-35) and our Mentoring Circles Program (for those 35+) may be a great fit. These programs offer personal and professional guidance to help women move forward. Our CORE program matches the mentee one-on-one with a mentor while also being a part of a supportive environment for goal planning, skill building, and personal development. This program lasts for six months and is mentee driven – we focus on what they want to focus on. In Mentoring Circles, our participants have an opportunity to act as a mentee and mentor in this unique peer-to-peer mentoring experience. As we say, sometimes they need the conversation, and sometimes the conversations need them. This is a perfect opportunity for your employees to think about what’s next. Both programs are free and available to any woman who lives, works, or goes to school in Frederick County.

Employee Engagement

If you have employees looking for a way to give back and share their experiences, W2WM would love to chat! We know that women’s stories and experiences have the power to help those around us, and as a mentor, everyone’s unique path could have a tremendous impact on someone trying to find their way. Through our one-on-one mentoring model, employees could use those experiences while connecting with a mentee. And we often hear how much our mentors gain from the mentorship experience – learning new things, opening up new perspectives, and building long-lasting connections. Becoming a mentor may be a perfect way for your more veteran employees to give back and grow!

Woman to Woman Mentoring has been blessed with great partners throughout our fourteen-year history, and this is just one more way W2WM and the business community can work together to invest in our community. If you are interested in connecting your employees with W2WM, please get in touch with our Executive Director, Ashley Waters, at ashley@womantowomanmentoring.org.
